Getting started with Veda 96

Getting started with Veda 96

Veda 96 is built to do one thing well: wake you in Brahma Muhurta, the 48 minutes before sunrise. Here’s how to get from download to your first alarm in a few minutes.

1. Install the app

2. Sign in

Create an account or sign in. Your alarm settings will sync across devices, so you don’t have to reconfigure when you switch phones or reinstall.

3. Allow location

Veda 96 needs your location to compute sunrise for your place and date. From that, it derives Brahma Muhurta — the 48-minute window before sunrise. Allow location access when the app asks; it’s used only for this calculation. You can also enter a location manually if you prefer.

4. Set your alarm

Once the app knows where you are, it shows today’s Brahma Muhurta window. Choose the time within that window when you want to wake — for example, 30 minutes before sunrise or right at the start of the window. The app sets the alarm for you. It will recalculate each day so you stay in the correct window as sunrise shifts with the seasons.

That’s it

No paywall, no premium tier. Veda 96 is free so that anyone who wants to try waking in Brahma Muhurta can do it without friction. Sign in, allow location, set your alarm — and wake a little more in sync with the day.
